Verbs (21) - Phrasal Verbs

အခ်ိဳ႕ verbs ေတြမွာ verb ႏွင့္ particle ဆုိၿပီးေတာ့ အစိတ္အပိုင္း ႏွစ္ခုပါ၀င္ပါတယ္။ (two part verbs)

Grow + up

The children are growing up.

ရံခါတြင္ verbs ေတြဟာ အဓိပၸါယ္ေျပာင္းသြားပါတယ္။

Take + after

She takes after her mother. (She looks like her mother. Or She behaves like her mother).

Count + on

I know I can count on you. (I know I can trust you. Or I know I can believe you).

အခ်ိဳ႕ transitive two part verb ေတြမွာ pattern တစ္မ်ိဳးတည္းသာရွိတယ္။

N (subject) + V + Particle + N (object).

အခ်ိဳ႕ transitive two part verbs ေတြဟာ phrasal verbs ေတြျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ Phrasal verbs မွာ pattern ႏွစ္မ်ိဳးရွိတယ္။

N + V + N + P. (Usual Pattern)

ရံခါ ဒီ phrasal verbs ေတြကို N + V + P + N. pattern နဲ႔လဲ ေရးလို႔ရတယ္။

Object က personal pronoun ျဖစ္မယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ N + V + N + P. pattern ကုိသာ သံုးရတယ္။

She gave it back. (She gave back it).

He knocked it over. (He knocked over it).

We will be leaving them behind. (We will be leaving behind them).

Phrasal Verbs ေတြမွာ transitive verb နဲ႔ particle တုိ႔ပါ၀င္ပါတယ္။
